Your information and this pilot

Information we collect

We may collect your first name, email, state, GLP-1 journey and goals, optional weight, hunger/appetite difficulty, side-effect burden, selected symptom categories, medication access barriers, treatment-change context, nutrition/protein confidence, activity, plateau status, questions or comments, and participation/use information. Some may be sensitive health-related information.

How we use information

We use information to operate Care Companion, display check-ins and trends, prepare summaries, identify items for human review, communicate about the pilot, measure participation and return use, evaluate usefulness, and improve the service.

Automated systems and human review

Automated systems may organize information, identify trends, summarize information you provide, and flag certain responses or questions for authorized human review. A flag is not a diagnosis or medical determination. Medication and dose decisions remain with licensed clinicians.

Urgent or emergency needs

Care Companion is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency service. Do not use it for emergencies or severe symptoms. If you believe you need immediate medical attention, call 911 or seek appropriate urgent or emergency care.

Service providers

We may use third-party service providers to host, secure, operate, maintain, communicate about, and evaluate the pilot. They may process information on behalf of Moorin Health as necessary to provide their services and subject to applicable contractual, privacy, and security requirements.

Retention

We generally retain identifiable pilot information for the duration of the pilot and for up to 12 months afterward. Information may be retained longer when required for legal, regulatory, security, contractual, or legitimate recordkeeping purposes. Appropriately de-identified information may be retained for product evaluation, analytics, and service improvement.

Voluntary participation

Participation is voluntary and you may stop at any time. Stopping does not necessarily require immediate deletion where retention is legitimately required or permitted.

Privacy requests

Signed-in members can use the Privacy Center to request access, a machine-readable copy, correction, restriction, withdrawal, or deletion. We may need to verify identity and may retain limited information when an approved legal, safety, security, or recordkeeping basis applies.

Care-access discovery

If you choose to answer the optional care-access questions, we collect your reported clinician-access status and the type of navigation support that may be useful. We use these responses to understand potential gaps in access to licensed care and evaluate future product options. Answering does not request an appointment, send information to a clinician or clinical business, or affect Care Companion or research participation.
